Employee Spotlight! Meet Lauren Neiheisel!

Meet Advisor Experience Manager Lauren Neiheisel, MBA!

Lauren was born & raised in Portland Oregon and has been part of the tru family for the past 2 years.  While originally joining the team as a general operations associate, Lauren has tirelessly contributed her management & training skills, leading to her recent promotion to a management role within the operations team at tru.  Lauren has worked in finance in the Portland Metro area since 2014, where she started her career working in operations at RBC Wealth Management.  She came to tru 1 year after having the experience of leaving a wirehouse and going independent; becoming an RIA with one of her previous firms.

“While going through the transition to becoming an independent RIA back in 2020, it became clear to me how vital the services are that tru provides. I was inspired to join a company where I could help others become independent, while utilizing my skillset in operations & firsthand experience of going through that breakaway at transition the same time.”

Working alongside her colleagues with a focus on growth & sustainability, Lauren has grown the West Coast Operations team while also supporting tru’s overall successes.

Lauren attended Knox College where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts with a focus in Management & Human Services in 2011. She spent her last year of collage living in Cape Town, South Africa and attended the University of the Western Cape studying gender law and human rights.

Lauren and her husband Matthew are the proud parents of a two year old son, Lucas and 2 cats.  Lauren is a self-taught gardening pro & has a passion for helping street cats find their forever homes.
